Utilization and efficient waste management system

Abstract

Segregation and recycling of waste are simple yet effective ways of reducing the amount of waste dumped on a daily basis, this paves the way for other concept of waste management like compost, recycling and incineration. Instead of manual segregation which can be a tedious process, it’s a better to go for automated waste segregation process. Automated waste sorters are intended to eliminate the task of a manual sorting and processes waste in different categories. The research work is to generate electricity from the waste. Wet waste can be turned into composites which can be further used as fertilizers over a period of time. Also metallic waste can be recycled for future purpose. The advantage of the process is to reduce space and save non-conventional resources.
